Our supplier onboarding process includes registration through our online portal at www.vobcoopers.com/suppliers, comprehensive capability assessment, due diligence on financial stability and compliance, and addition to our Approved Supplier Register for participation in competitive tenders and direct purchase orders.
We maintain rigorous supplier standards covering quality management, delivery reliability, commercial integrity, health and safety compliance, labor rights, environmental responsibility, and anti-corruption practices aligned with our Supplier Code of Conduct. Beyond transactional relationships, we invest in supplier development through early payment programs supporting cash flow, technical assistance on quality improvement and process optimization, capacity building training, and market linkage facilitation.
We conduct procurement through transparent processes including Requests for Quotation for routine purchases, formal Requests for Proposal for complex requirements, competitive tenders for major procurements exceeding GHS 500,000, and framework agreements for ongoing needs.
We actively support small and medium enterprises through simplified registration, favorable payment terms, mentorship, and staged growth opportunities recognizing their critical role in Ghana’s economic development.
